You didn't give any dates in your query, so I went looking at some of your message history. I wanted to look for death record for her sons. If the Mary Weathers from the 1900 census is your Mary, both of her sons show their father as Andrew Jackson Weathers. But, I see his name is Jon on 1880 census, and John on TX Confederate Widows Pension. Have you obtained a copy of her widow's pension application? You never know what will pop up on widow's pensions. She has to prove she was married to the veteran etc.
