Greetings, Carlene
Saw your posting of 1/29/03 on Milam County, TX. Genforum and really got excited as my grandmother, Mary Ann Devine Booth, is the daughter of Harriet Sophia Shires(Ealand?) who was a resident of Gause, TX. and I believe is buried there. I believe that Mary Ann was also a resident there for some time. My daughter and I have been working on the Booth Family History, but have not been too successful in finding out much about Mary Ann. We do have quite a bit on Harriet, who was the mother of my Grandfather Joseph Matthew Booth, and lived with him here in SAT during the 1800's. He was married to Mary Ann and they lived in San Antonio. . Would you be so kind as to give me any info that you may have there or possibly in the book you have about the Legacy of Gause. It would be very much appreciated. I live in San Antonio, and my daughter lives in Galveston. Evelyn Wyrick Sievers.
