My grandmother was Fannie Miller , daughter of Joseph Author Miller, and Sara Comfort Ferri, both buried in Sandy Creek cemetery, if memory serves me.

I have not been able to find her family, since her father's name is very common, and her mother does not seem to have any S.S. records. I am trying to get her birth certificates and application for s.s. card to get more information.

I do know, that my grandmother was from Louisiana, before coming to Texas, this could be a possible connection.

My grandmother had a sister named Elizabeth, one named Agnes that died young, a brother named Andrew, and I cannot remember them all, but those are the ones I am familiar with. The name Henry sounds familiar, but I cannot place it for certain.

She married Durward Gray. Does this sound like the same Miller family in Milam county that you are researching? I also would be happy to share information.

Thank you,
Desiree Woods
