Now that I've read through more of the messages, I'm intrigued. My grandmother was Mary Bell Meers. Here are notes from her Bible, which I have.
-Robert. W. Hughes, born 8/26/1878, Hamilton Co., TX was her half brother.
-Sister Susan Alice Meers, born Llano co., TX 7/10/1889.
- Brother Jim McAllister Meers, born Holland, Bell Co, 2/24/1892
-Mary Bell Meers, Holland, Bell Co., 12/10/1893
-Lela Adelle Meers, DaVilla, Milam Co., 11/24/1896 (married Trammell).
-Leonard Jackson Meers, Llano Co., Feb. 10, 1900.

Now if Mary Lavisa is not your ggrandmother, she's not mine either. (Stranger things have happened). Mine spoke often with affection for Lela, Robert and Leonard.

Mary Lavisa Baker was born 10/26/1862, Llano Co. Married Jackson Davis Meers 12/18/1887 at Bluffton, TX by a Hendricks. Died April 23, 1936, Prague.
