Lucy ann (louisa)(CAVE)rabon/dodd/autry came to texas before 1857. She had three children marry in san augustine co. by 1860 and was a widow by march of that year.
She had a son, louis taylor dodd who moved into milam with his wife victoria asenath collins and their children after 1880.

There were others there that were kin, CAVE<DODD< POUNDS< COLLINS<ELLIOTT<COTTON<MILES<Blocker<
HARDY,GRABENER,PETTY,MASSEY,HAIRSTON,GREEN,KELLAR OR KELLER<KITE< SAMPIER,BRYANT,NARRID<MIXON< McLean......

Basically you could n't throw a stick in milam co. and not hit someone who was kin to this family.

Lucy ann dodd autry was buried in sand grove in an unmarked and unlisted grave in the older section of hurt graham cemetery in the cave family plots, by her sister in law's permission(nancy bass cave-widow of henry cave)

I am wondering if anyone has ever seen a probate or any court records for her under the name of lucy autry? and she has a grandson who was taken by his other grandparents and was raised without his mother or father, his sirname, would have been PATTERSON. WE are searching for any mention of his mother, Marcella louise dodd patterson. She may have remarried before the 1870 census. Does anyone have a marriage record with her name on it? thanks , judy and alot of milam texas, dodd cousins.
