This looks like your Hattie, TX Dth Idx thru 1976:

This looks like her husband. Note the surname is actually spelled Pairett:

I wondered why Hattie was buried in Williamson Co, until I found her husband. He died first. They have matching headstones and you can see them on Find a Grave buried in the Granger City Cemetery.

1920 census Williamson Co, TX:

Parrett[sic], Geo, h, 31, md, b TN, TN, TN
" Hattie, w, 26, md, b AL, AL, AL
" Pruddie, d, 12, b TD
" Earl, s, 7, b TX
" Pearl, d, 7, b TX (I assume these are twins)
" Lucile, d, 3, b TX

My personal opionion is Hattie is not the natural child of George. Note location of birth on that 1900 census for her father is listed as AL and George is listed as born in TN and all the Wheatley chilren show up with father born in TN.

Someone on Rootsweb's WorldConnect site is working on this family. They show some sources and some "contemplations." This is good as it leaves it open for more searching. -- I entered Wheatley, George, spouse Minerva.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
