The function of Camp Chemical was eventually taken over by the new town of Lake Jackson. The Lake Jackson Museum has been just recently opened and has quite a bit of information about this era. I would start by corresponding with the Brazoria County Museum whose email address is bchm@bchm.org.

Camp Chemical was a company town built to house the workers for the building of Dow Chemical Company.
