Hi I have a book Jeff Davis County, Texas. I it is a Lara Family. It say Gabriel Lara was born circa 1859 in Santa Rosalia Camargo, Mexico. He Came to the United States in 1879 as a teamster. He Married Belen Dutchover, the daughter of Diedrick and Cora Dutchover Nov. 12, 1880. In 1906 Gabriel Lara was struck and killed by lighting while hauling salt from the Salt Flats in Culberson County. Gabriel and Belen had seven children: Pedro b. 1882; Carlos b. 1883; Maria; David; Lalo; Antonio; and Brigido b. 1899. After Gabriel's death Belen Dutchover Lara married Francisco Martin.

Pedro Lara married Petra Marquez, the daughter of Julian and Feliciana Marquez. They had Roberto, Florenico, Santiago, and Josefina. Carlos Lara Married Josefa Rodriguez. Maria Lara married Marcos Salcedo. Brigido Lara married Maria Quiros. They had Silvestra, Brigido, Eva, Tommy, Fred, Willie Ben and Mary Alice.
