I know exactly where Brushy Creek Is and it is so small you will not find it on any map. the only landmark that it has burned to the ground the old store post office, it is south of Athens Texas, down 175 about 15 miles from Poynor, and about 17 to Palestine,
There are two cemetaries there Olive Branch and Pisqual or spelled some thing like that.
It is beautifyl country there and all mt ancestors are buried there. Mt great great grandfather Daniel Henderson helped build the arbor there it is where they all use to come indians and all others for a farmers market. and trading.
