I checked Everton's Handy Book for Genealogists, and there seems to be a small gap in vital records in Potter Co, Tx from 1910 to 1941, so you might have to try Austin for Creed's death certificate. Austin required the counties to send copies of their vitals beginning 1 Jan 1929, so if Potter Co. complied, Austin should have Creed's death certificate. Shouldn't be a problem with Emily's. You can see why dates are important regarding locating records, "if there are any".
