I'm sorry, I must have typed birth instead of death certificate. I have his death certificate and it doesn't contain a ssn. It does have the birthdate, but my grandfather told my mother that there was some confusion about his birthdate. He said he was a year older than was officially recorded. Hence, the confusion. I appreciate the help, Thanks!!
