Well, if Cora died when Lillie was 6, then it was before death certificates in OK or TX. Have you looked for Wm. Thomas Reese on the 1900 census? There's always the chance family story was off by a little as to when Cora actually died. Or, if Cora was dead, he may still have had his daughters with him in 1900. It might narrow down where they probably were living when Cora died. You could follow up on 1910 & 1920 census for William, and see if you can find him with second wife and a son named Luther. Do you have actual record/application for marrige of Lillie? (Not marriage certificate) She was a 16 yrs old, did she have to have permission from the Uncle with whom she lived, to get married? Have you looked for a marriage of Florence Reese in Hunt Co, TX? She might have married in same place as her sister, Lillie.
