Lyunch-Bullock marriage in Frost,Texas

My Grandmother always said that she was married in Frost,Texas in 1897,but that her marriage certificate was lost in a fire.Frost is in Navarro Co. and they lived after marriage in Ellis Co..I can't find any record at the Ellis or Navarro county record files.Does anyone know where records of 1897 for Frost may be found?Maybe they got their license in another county.Maybe they never married.Her maiden name was Martha Amelia Bullock.His name James Harvey Lynch.Some records say she was from Kaufman,some say Milford.He was born in Cooke Co. and lived in Ellis Co. at the time in question.How they wound up in Frost to get married,I have no idea.Any help or suggestions in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
