Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Gause is in Milam Co, TX. Have your tried the Milam Co, TX GenWeb site? Many GenWeb counties are putting their cemeteries online. You can post your query there, too. If cemeteries not online, and a book has been published, someone may see your query and check book, or books, for you. Oh, and you did not include any dates, or approximate dates, in your query. Names, dates (or approximate dates) & locations are mainstays for queries, you have two out of three. My source for the name of the county is Getty Thesaurus, bookmark it, good for any state.

The hyperlink at the end of this message will take you to the Texas GenWeb site, scroll down to the county index option. If you haven't visited the TX GenWeb site before, click on the many options offered at the state level, too. You may not need the info at this time, but will know where to find it when the need arises.
