Do you know when and where Osceloa/Otis died? His death certificate should have the names and birth location of his parents. Armed with name of his father you could check out the 1900 census for the family. If you could pinpoint county of the Johnson family residence, you could check probate and land records, for possible death date of Osceola/Otis's father. Also, possible marriage record of "Mrs." Johnson to a Thompson.
