Your ggrandfather's name, Osceola, caught my eye because I had an aunt named Osceola, who we called Aunt Osie. (Not exactly a common name.) Her father's name was John Osborn Johnson and he was born about 1876. He lived in Dallas County, Texas and possibly Kaufman County.

Does that name ring a bell with your mother or does it appear in any of your research?
