Charles,AdelineBridges before 1850 Texas

On his death certificate (my Great-Grandfather) James Bridge's father was listed as Charles. I think I found this family in the 1850 Census of Anderson County, Texas listed under Adeline Bridges born in Miss. There were two children, Margaret 1844 and James 1846, both born in San Augustine County, TX, Charles the father was not listed, which may mean he had died before the Census. There was another Bridges family living in the same county with a father James Bridges 36 years of age married to Mary 32 from Miss.Children Jackson (Who had also been born in San Augustine), Edmond,Amanda,Elizabeth Francis and Samuel. It may be that this James Bridges was the brother to Charles and that Mary was Adeline's sister as well. Does anyone have any information on this Texas group? Thank you, Kathy Torkelson
