Have you checked the Smith Co, TX GenWeb site? Some GenWeb counties have their local cemeteries online. Also, if a county history was published, there might be a volunteer who would do a lookup in that publication for you. Looks like Smtih Co, TX has early marriage records, have you checked for William and Sallie's marriage record? Be sure to leave your query on that site.
