Osburns of Scotland

I am seeking information concerning Osburns in Scotland. John Noble Osburn born in
SCT in 1796 came to America via Ireland around 1795 and married Jane McRaven before
comming with her family to Virginia, Tennessee, then to Mississippi. A letter
written by gg grandchild is our clues. Osburn is Scottish, Osborn is English as we
have determined. Signatures in MS records show Osburn. Do you have any links to
agree with the above. We have wills and many land transfer records that show where
the families arrived in MS 1824. Several names are included (McRaven, Smith,
McDonald, Siebe, Gamble, Lackey)

Gerry L. Osburn of Texas
