Fitzgerald Genealogy-Irish Ancestory

Aloha!

My family surname is Fitzgerald and are descendents of Maurice Fitzgerald who arrived in Leinster in 1169 a.d. died and was buried in Wexford in 1177 a.d. His descendents became the Earls of Desmond and held their principal
possessions in Co. Kerry and Southern Munster.

In 1745 James S. Fitzgerald Sr., son of Walter Fitzgerald, Jr., was living in Orange Co. Virginia. His descendents migrated to IN, IL, KY, MO, and OK.

I am researching family history between the periods of 1169 a.d. and 1745 a.d.

We have a family Coat of Arms with a passed down history regarding the monkey that was later added to the sheild by the infant heir, Thomas Fitzgerald. I am interested in receiving a graphic of the family crest.

It would be greatly appreciated if you have family history to share.

Mahalo Nui Loa,

S. Viehweg
