Thanks for your information. I had seen this information and wondered as you have about being twins since both sons are 11. Richard Lee had several children, among them a set of twin girls. Twins certainly seem likely. My husband is one of Richard Lee's grandsons. Richard lived in Milam County, Tx. for years and in his last few years moved to Alvin, Texas where several of his children lived. Thus his death being in Galveston as John Sealy Hospital in Galveston was the main hospital at that time. My guess is they were likely indigent. My husband barely remembers them and knows next to nothing about them. I am stuck with Richard Lee and have found nothing further other than his father may be George E. Jones. My husband believes they initially came from Bosque County, Texas. If you turn up anything else I would be ever so grateful.
