Hi Hugh,
Annie (Jones) Smith is my great great grandmother and we have also long hit a wall once we get to Annie. It was always our understanding growing up that she was of Cherokee heritage. Did you ever have any more luck than us? I am afraid that with the aging of so many of our key senior family members, we may never be able to get much further. I am eager to continue my efforts and I bumped into your genforum message. I know it's been a while but do you perhaps have any idea in which way we might go?
Thanking you very much in advance,
Robin Patton (thru the Roberts clan)
