Can anyone help his lady? Any clues will be most appreciated. No trace of William W. Walker has been located following his leaving home after the Civil War. Also, the lady sent the following to me. We are searching for where my great-great grandfather is buried.Ê He was in Anderson county, Texas (Palestine) and he returned from the war at the end after being released from POW camp and left again.Ê He had four children.Ê No one could locate him after he left.Ê His name was William W Walker and he was the son of Nathan B Walker.Ê Nathan and WilliamÕs brother George are buried in Anderson county in the FieldÕs Chapel cemetery.Ê His sister Laura married Jance Leopard and they are also buried in FieldÕs Chapel.Ê We have searched for him for over 40 years.Ê I have also contacted any relatives of people buried in Texas and connected them to the descendants that are searching for them. William's wife was: Elizabeth Templeton lived with her son, my great grandfather, James Franklin (Jim) Walker in Wise county, Texas and is listed on the 1900 and 1910 census. (Note: "her son was also the son of William W. Walker") Notify Administrator about this message?
