I'm not finding a transaction bet R F [Richard Franklin] TANKERSLEY and Samuel Augustus MAVERICK in TX LAND TITLE ABSTRACTS 1700-2008.

Which person are you pursuing? Sam d 1870, and I can't place R F in Tom Green Co prior to this date.
There are several online histories for both of these men.
