Perry Anderson was my great great grandfather. He was born in 1823 and died in 1874 and is buried in the Eddins/Anderson cemetery in Shelby Co., TX. His wife is buried next to him her name was Nancy Isabella Bodine Anderson born 1827 and died in 1878. They owned and lived on the land they had in Shelby Co until they died. Their daughter Amanda Elizabeth Anderson was my great great grandmother and I named my daughter after her. She married Joseph T Eddins. Their son George Washington Eddins was my great grandfather who married Nonie Elizabeth Wiggins. Their daughter Mamie Arlene Eddins was my grandmother who married Rheuie Vaughn Andrews. Their son Luther Lamar Andrews is my father.
You can find tons of info on Perry by looking up his father Johnathan "Old Shelby" Anderson on google. Interesting read. Enjoy.
