Seeking parents & siblings for William M. MARTIN, born 17 May 1830 TN (presumably, Henry County); died 08 Jan 1917; buried in Nancy Smith Cemetery, Somervell County, TX. Listed in 1870 TX Census for Bosque County, enumerated with William GLASS, Mary Jane LaFON, and James RIDGEWAY. Listed in 1880 TX Census for Somervell County with spouse Caroline "Callie" (married c.1871). It is believed that this William MARTIN is the same as served in the CSA 5th Tennessee Infantry Regiment (1862-1863). It is also believed that this William MARTIN was a member of the Knights of Pythias, Castle Hall, Glen Rose Lodge #168. Children were: William Thomas (1872-1948); John Quincy (1874-1937); Robert H. (1876-1918); Beulah FAGALA (1878-1973); Elisha Austin (1881-1962). Unable to locate record of birth, record of marriage, or record of death in either State or County archives. Census records indicate that William's father and mother were born in VA (when & where unknown).
