Thank you so much Janet for your suggestions. I had not thought to look for his grandparents under Waters or to drop the last name and just look for the family by their first names. I was thinking that maybe it was Addie since she is in the home in 1930 but thanks for finding them in 1920. I now have two possibilities. Luckily, had the surname spelled right and I did find them in 1940.

I am working on sending for Lonnie's death certificate to see who is on there as his parents. Knowing his grandparent's names will help me eliminate them if they are on there as his parents. I also have my brother's great-great grandparents as well but just not his grandparents. :(

Again, thanks so much for your suggestion of contacting the Houston library. I hadn't thought about that. I appreciate people like you and try to do the same. It pays forward. :) Catherine
