This is the closest I can come to them in 1920. May not be them at all, but take a look. If it is your Ethel, she fudged on her age several years, but is still 2 years older than Edwin, so entirely possible she took a few years off.
1920 Indianapolis, Marion Co., Indiana
Edwin Ryan, age 26, b. Ohio, pipe fitter, gas company
Ethel Ryan, age 28, b. England, immigrated 1900
William T. Ryan, age 7 months, b. Indiana (census was taken January 13, 1920, so he would have been born probably sometime in June, 1919.
Their marriage license should tell his age, maybe place of birth, etc.
