I show the following for William Berry Farmer, do your records agree?
Birth: 17 Feb 1837 in Pike, Georgia, USA
Death: 17 Feb 1926 is buried at Newman Cemetery, Fisher County, Texas, USA
Married Mary Horton in Smith Co, Texas on 23 Dec 1859. They had one son, Elijah. When the 1860 US Census was done on Aug 17 it showed him to be 8 months old.
Married Isabel Robberts in Smith Co, Texas on 19 Feb 1869
No children
Married Maggi I. Lewis ? Bowen on 9 Nov 1876 in Smith Co, Texas (The marriage license show her name to be Margaret H. Bowen)(Her death certificate shows Maggi I Farmer and her dad to be Thomas Lewis)She had one daughter, Mollie B. Bowen when she married W B Farmer. I can't find anything on her first husband's name. My dad says they were married a very short time because he was abusive. Mr, Bowen was a very good man but he was killed. Maggi and WBF had:
William Wayne Farmer 1877 1959
Roberta "Birdie" Farmer 1880 1966
Okla Ewing Farmer 1882 1953
Charley Patton Farmer 1886 1961
Helen Elizabeth Farmer 1913 1913
WBF and Maggi are buried in the Newman Cemetery which is south of Sylvester, Texas where the Newman Community had been. I have been there numerous times as a lot of our family is buried there. My dad remembers Maggi, WBF, and their kids very well.
