Dates in a query are almost a "must." I did find DC for John Newton Faith and that gives us some dates to start working with.

TX Dth Idx thru 1976:

Name: John Newton Faith
Death Date: 24 Mar 1910
Death Place: Burnet, Burnet, Texas
Gender: Male
Race: White
Death Age: 54 years 3 months 26 days
Estimated Birth Date:
Birth Date: 28 Nov 1855
Birthplace: Whitfield Co., Georgia
Marital Status: Married
Spouse's Name:
Father's Name: John Faith
Father's Birthplace: Georgia
Mother's Name: Luvina Readwine
Mother's Birthplace: Georgia
Occupation: Ginner
Place of Residence:
Cemetery: I.O.O.F. Cemetery
Burial Place: Burnet
Burial Date: 24 Mar 1910
Additional Relatives:
Film Number: 2050199
Digital Film Number: 4165821
Image Number: 2425
Reference Number: cn 6792

John and Louvinia were in Troup Co, GA in 1860. In 1880 in Whitfield Co, GA. By 1900 John Newton is in Burnet Co, TX and in a separate household is Louvinia head of her own household with three of her adult children. So she at least made it to TX.

Go to Find a Grave site -- http://www.findagrave.com/ -- Click on Search for a Cemetery, type in Odd Fellows Cemetery, click on name of cemetery, enter surname of Faith and you can view headstones for John and his wife and someone has posted a lot of information on them and their families, too.

On the site for Civil War soldiers I found this:

Faith, John, Confederate; Infantry
1st Regiment, Georgia Infantry (State Guards)

Happy Hunrting (^_^)
