I am researching Friedrich or Fritz Bremer born November 14 1861 in Vilsen, Hanover, Germany. Fritz was married to a Anna Marie Doepke from Heitheusen, Hanover, Germany. Fritz and Anna had a son Heinrich Friedrich Johann born also in Prov. Hanover, Germany on March 8, 1885. Fritz and Anna and their son Henry arrived in New York on/or about 19 May 1886, departing Bremen Germany on/or about 9 May 1886 on the ship Rhein. Fritz and family was later to settle in Washington County Texas, later moving to Brazos County, Texas, McLellen County, Texas finally to Fisher county Texas where he passed away on December 4, 1914. His other children that were born in Texas are: Minnie 1887, Anna 1892, Marie 1894, Mary 1895, Fritz Jr. 1897, and the last child is Wilhelm Joseph 1899. I am in need of information concerning Fritzís time in the province of Hannover in the 1870-1880ís. Any knowledge of his kin-folks would be greatly appreciated. I have search all available databases and noting has turned up , plus my knowledge of the German Language has made researching Germany difficult. Thank you for your time.

Rita J. (Bremer) Burrell
Great-Grand Father of Fritz Bremer.
