Tidwell - Searching for father and grandfather info

Can anyone help me? Seems I have hit a wall right out of the gate. I have traced the other side of my family back to the 1500's but I can't even get started on the TIDWELL side. They are like elusive butterflies.

My father was Jesse Willard Tidwell. Supposedly born February 14,1920. All I truly have is a document where he was applying in December 1940 to work at a CCC Camp. He listed his father as TOM TIDWELL and mother as Eurwa or Emma (hard to read), Woore or Moore. He (Jesse) would have been 40 at the time.

His current residence (on the form in 1940) was listed as 310 Middle Avenue, Jackson, Tennessee. Supposed place of his birth was Adamsville, McNairy, TN.
Also I know where and when he died in Texas (Rye). He did tell me, on one of the few occasions I got to talk to him, that we had relatives buried in Savannah,Tn but didn't say who??? I would love to know who my grandparents were.

Piece of cake, right? Can't find a single matching fact.
I really need help.
