Yeah, most of my cousins are WAY older than me, many of the deseased & they haven't been able to dig up what I have. There are about 4 of us working on it, one died a few years ago without me having had the chance to meet him; One was raised in foster homes so he got most of his info from me & his grandparents (my Aunt & Uncle)died shortly after he met them & he shared that info - which was the same as the tales I had. And one other researcher that hasn't gotten as far as I have because he doesn't have the resources that I have, so I just share what I find with him.

Now, I have some questions concerning the names "Walker" AND "Pinkney".

My Father's side has a Walker lady that married into the Pool line in the mid 1800's. there were 2 people in our family named for her using her maiden name - My Great Grandfather & my deceased Brother.

Now, Ethel Butler Presley from my Mother's Side, (mentioned in the above post) - Her Husband's Father was Charles Pinkney Presley. His grandmother or great grandmother was a Pinkney & he got the name from her maiden name. If i am not mistaken, there were like 3 generations of men with the first name Pinkney in that family before I got back to the person with the maiden name Pinkney.

Do you think we could have the same family members for those lines? I have to look back into my records to get dates & such, but if you think my Pinkney's & your Walker's may be linked, I might be able to help. I know that my line of Pool/Poole was in GA, FLA, TX & CA - coming into the US at New Jersey Port, we THINK. As for the Pinkney's, I don't have much verifiable info on that line, but I think it was mostly LA, MISS & TX areas but no idea where before then.

Strike any bells? I am of the Noah David & Susan McKeehan Line as well as the Middleton Pool, Sr line of Pool/Poole.

Our correspondence gets more interesting each time you post! :)
