There are two towns named Morton and one named Morton Valley in TX, but I assume you want the one in Cochran Co, as thats what shows up on the SSDI.

Jennings, Bert, born 22 Apr 1904; died 14 Sept 1978; last residence Morton, Cochran Co, TX; SS card obtained in TX.

This is probably your Artie, info from SSDI and TX Dth Idx:

Jennings, Artie Gertrude, born 14 Jan 1909; died 1 Jan 1994 Lubbock Co, TX; last residence Lubbock, Lubbock Co, TX; SS card obtained in TX.

Her obituary should list survivors and maybe where they lived, too, especially if they didn't live in the same place.

TX Birth Idx:

Jennings, Melton, b 3 Sep 1933, Cochran Co, TX
" Gwendlyon[sic], b 1 Nov 1935, "
" Martha Lois, b 5 Jun 1938, "
" Curtis Wayne, b 23 Aug 1949, "

Are you sure of spelling for surnames Hor, Smithier and Hoga.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
