May I make a suggetion?Your post is pretty brief. I looked at your message history and others are too. If you want researchers to help you might want to include a little bit of information. Names, dates and locations are very important. Albany is a town, so I went looking and it is in Shackelford Co, TX. So, I looked at the 1900 census and found the N. stands for Newton, sometimes called Newt.
1900 census Shackelford Co, TX:
Ellard, Newton, hd, b Apr 1870, 30 md 4 yrs, b TX, GA, AL
" Lee, wf, b May 1877, 23, md 4 yrs, 2 ch, 1 lvg, b TX, TX, AR
" Walter, son, b Mch 1890, 2/12, b TX
I think Walter's year of birth should be 1899.
1910 in Kent Co, TX
1920 in Motley Co, TX
1930 in Shackelford Co, TX
Newton is shown as being married before and looks like the son on one census is from previous marriage, can't read the name, but I think he's the one on the same page with Newton in 1920 listed as Jake Ellard, with wife and child.

On Find a Grave site there is description for the location of his grave in So Park Cemetery, Brazoria Co, TX.
Now, this gives some information that others might build on. Some researchers browse this site and have access to more sites than I do and maybe one of them can take you on back some more.
