Paul, the only person I know a name for is my g-grandmother,
Margaret Annis/Annise (?) Lowry/Lowery, she was called Maggie, born about 1847 MO.
I have found her last name spelled both Lowry and Lowery in
family records.
All I know about her family is what a great uncle wrote in a note book at a family reunion in 1939.
Margaret had two brothers that joined the Confederate Army and a sister that married a Union Officer. He didn't put names of these people in the book.
I know the Lowry/Lowery family were in Dallas, Texas by 1867,because Maragret married Henry Terrel Hickman in Dallas,Texas in 1867.
I beleive that Margaret's brothers and sister were in Texas
when she came but left later.
I know this is not a lot to go on, but it's all I have.
