Sandra,
Thank you for the information. This Geo. H. Roberts survey was mentioned in a deed as being a boundary of land sold by W. B. Smith and wife , Virginia. in l873. I thought by being worded like this , Geo. H. Roberts was the orginal owner of the land. and still held the grant.
