Location of a memory

About 1929/30/31 I wrote a letter to my grandparents in TN telling them I had a new brother. It was sent from "Bart Morse/Morris Camp" in TX. I was 7 yrs. old and we were living in Catarina, Del Rio and Eagle Pass area and I'm wondering if it was originally connected with the great dam that is now in that area. I remember we were living in floored tents near a river/stream with a foot bridge over it.......Many, many years later here I am back in Texas and it's still as hot as I remebered it then! Would you know any oldtimers who might remember this? Thank you.

Doris
