I have trying to research this line for several years with no real help from living family. I have what seems hit a brick wall. I am looking for any information on Alfred M. Thompson's parents. What I have is he was born 8 Apr. 1834 in Kentucky. He came to Texas in 1859. He died on 13 Mar. 1908 in Texas and is buried in Concord Cemetary, Palestine, Anderson, Texas. He married Charlotte Darnall in 1859. They had 9 children: Susan Elizabeth, Mary E., Robert Bruce, James E., Udora, John H., Wm. Edward, Ida B, and Albert M.
I thought his parents were Jesse Thompson and Elizabeth Peel, but not sure now as I can't find any information on them.
Any help would be so much appreciated.
