Doug I so appreciate you insight on this, I had kept my focus on the birth location of his parents to Missouri and Alabama based on the one census I had. It had taken me 3 yrs to locate where Clarence was buried and how he died. The family bible; now lost, indicated Clarence was born in 1872 as well. What is also interesting here is my mother always said we were related to Jesse James therefore the Minerva comments are very interesting! Again thank you so very much.
