This James V Matson was the son of James Vardeman Matson and Mary Lincecum Matson. Richard T. Matson was a brother to this James V. Matson who died in 1931. Richard and Mary Jane did have a son named James V Matson. For 6 generations the Matson kept naming people James, Richard, Mary, Sallie, and Emma's. Thus making tracing this Matson line very difficult. The Lewis you mentioned was a daughter to the James Vardeman Matson/Mary Lincecum who are buried at Fairhaven Cemetery, Hubbard, Hill co, TX. Thanks for all the info you provided. It is the family!
