Ira died before 1870, probably in Lavaca County, TX. His wife remarried in Lavaca County 6/13/1881 to W. A. Crane. According to Texas Death Records, Malinda J. Crane died 3/11/1920 in Bexar County. She is on the 1920 Census living in San Antonio in January with her daughter by Mr. Crane.
