My dad remembered Pete Kohl and where he lived in the old town of San Jacinto. My family lived there from 1859 to the early 1970's. He was a cousin who I believe married a Woganstahl or a Praetorius who were descendents from Lena Mohr in New Orleans. My dad had said he was buried at the Habermehl cemetery near the San Jacinto Monument although a marker is not present. I have a framed linen with signatures of family and friends with the date of 1905 including Pete Kohh's signature. It was made by my great aunt. I can send you a picture of this and of the cemetery if you would like it.
