Larry, would you be related to the Rhode who married into the W.W. Cox family?

W.W. Cox's father was involved in the Taylor-Sutton feud in DeWitt County, Texas, & W.W. Cox moved to New Mexico. Print Rhode, and Sterling Rhode were W.W. Cox's wife's brothers.
I posted this message, looking for Rhode living relatives.

My name is M. Fanning. I am trying to locate family members of W.W. Cox, or Sterling Rhode, and Kirby S. Weems. Sterling Rhode was a resident of Weed, N.M, born in Leesville, Texas; family moved to the Las Cruces area in 1897. W.W. Cox's wife was a Rhode. I would like to find living family members, descendents, who would give permission to listen to an interview by Herman Weisner in 1960, of Sterling Rhode, and Kirby Weems. Both interviews are restricted, and no one can listen to them. Rhode and Weems just failed to lift a restriction before they passed away. They are housed at University of Texas at El Paso Library.

Thomas J. Bull established San Augustin Ranch in the Organ Mountains. W.W. Cox bought the ranch in the late 1800s. Cox expanded the ranch to 150,000 acres. In 1945, the federal government used eminent domain to take over 90 percent of the Ranch, establishing the White Sands Missile Range.

Any help would be most appreciated, thank you.

Thanks! Martha.
