Wow! That is a ton of great info. I will look through it all tomorrow and compare with my notes. The William Baskett in Lauderdale County 1850 census, is the man my family credits with being the father of Catherine Baskett. I always wondered who Hester was and why she was in the family. Also, the two DC's for Willis McMullen and Sarah McMullen Payne Coleman are indeed the children of John and Katy McMullen. The Payne that Sarah was married to (Chisolm Foster Payne)was an outlaw according to family legend. I have found no proof of that... Thanks for all of this. I'll get back with you tomorrow if I have anything else I can add.
