Looking for the father of Green W. Cox, ----John Cox.-He is thought to have left Ireland and landed in North Carolina John had three son's that I have recorded. Green W. Cox B. 1800, John F. Cox B. 1805, James Cox B. 1810. All born in North Carolina. They left North Carolina in 1849 with 1 Ox cart and 1 mule wagon and walked to east Texas. It took six months for the trip. All thought to have died in Wolf City, Hunt Co. Texas or that vacinity. This would my G. G. grandfather on my mother's side of the family. Need to know more about my ancesters. Thanks for any information you can give me.
