From Soc Sec Dth Idx:

Alfredo Z. Alanis, b 13 Nov 1930; d 14 Jun 2000; last residence Berwyn, Cook Co, IL; Soc Sec card obtained in TX.

You can go to this site --http://genforum.genealogy.com/tx/messages/61146.html -- and order a copy of the application Alfredo filled out to obtain his Soc Sec card. It should show the names of his parents, his residence at the time of his application etc.

You might try Cook Co, Illinois GenWeb site -- http://cook.ilgenweb.net/ -- Click on lookups, then click on Obituary Lookups, there are several people listed who will do obituary lookups for $2.00 to $3.00, no fee if not found. Sounds pretty good. Names of survivors are often listed in obits and a pretty good way to learn married names of female members of the family.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
