Virgil Newton Compton In Raines or Wood County , Texas 1893

I am trying to locate my grandfather's birth parents. His name was Virgil Newton Compton born April 25,1893. He may of had brothers,Frankie,and Hezzie. Possible Mother, Hattie remarried to Willis Adams 1900 according to Rains County, Texas Census,Virgil is listed as a step-child. I believe his grandfather was Jesse Compton born 1810 in VA. Possible grandmother Lucretia born in GA. Anyone out there that can fill in my blanks? Is anyone else researching this line? Other family lines I am researching are: Nathaniel Green Ross Jr.,Minnie Ross Beecham,Pearl Beecham Compton.
