I've been searching for my grgr grandmother's maiden name for a very long time. Her name was Mary Ann b. 1852 Texas and d. 1887 Gonzales,Tx. She married Three times in her short life, an UNK Buchanan that does not show up in 1870 census,Lyles by 1871 and Rosell by 1879. My line is thru Lyles, but the death cert of her two children from Lyles have been no help. She had two dau. by Rosell, Elizabeth Catherine Rosell b. 1880, that married a Cleveland in Gonzales,Tx. and secondly(that I just found), by 1929 to a Wanke in Bexar,Tx. I have tried both Cleveland and Wanke to find her death cert. , with no luck. Most of the time she is listed by Kate or Katie. The second daughter Carrie Rosell b. 1882 Gonzales,Tx. married frist to a Parker in 1902 and leaves her a widow by 1907 with two children. Before 1920 Carrie has remarried to a Call and is in California. Yep, he dies by 1930 and I can no longer find Carrie. I guess I'm looking for any online databases for Texas or Cal. for the above timeline for either marriage records or something. I've racked my brain as where to look for clues and just come up with, nothing!! Any suggestions??? Thanks, Barbara
