Please Help! Looking for any information on George Rose b. 1875(Texas)as far as I know. Wife Mattie Cheney 1883-1950, daughter Helen(Lee)?Rose b. 1911-1932, Helens death certificate is where I got the info. that both parents birthplace was Texas. Helen was born and died in Bexar County, San Antonio Texas. Helen's Husband was John H. Melvin, they had a daughter Virginia Lee Melvin b. 1931, this is my birth mother, the only thing my twin sister and I were ever told by family members is that she was of Native American decent, but not sure from which of her parents side. I think Choctaw was the Tribe, but not sure.
